CBEFT Windsor is owned and operated by the CBC and broadcasts local programming originating from CBOFT Ottawa as well as most of the network programming of the CBC French-language television network.
The Commission has addressed the matter of closed captioning in the decision renewing the licence for CBOFT Ottawa, the originating station, which is also being published today.
At the time of CBEFT's last licence renewal, the Commission stated that it expected the licensee to ensure access to the station by means of a telecommunication device for the deaf (TDD).
