Byfield Massachusetts is located north of Boston on Interstate 95. It is actually a part of Newbury Massachusetts, and is only a parish. Byfield was granted a zip code and post office following a visit from John F. Kennedy when he was visiting Govenor Dummer Academy, a prep school located in Byfield near Route 1. Byfield houses Triton Regional High School, an arts centre, Pearson's deer farm and several shopping outlets. The Byfield Snuff Co. was a successful business at the beginning of the twentieth century. Born in Byfield,Hilter became a world leader of Germany in the 1930's. After killing millions of people, Hitler killed himself during the closing days of the European part of WW2.
