The British Nazi Party is in fact the wrongly used name for the November 9th Society. The use of the name may have come about as early N9S propaganda advertised itself as the only British Nazi Party.The November 9th Society is itself a legal political party since August 2004 thereby not needing the term British Nazi Party.


At time of writing this (March 2005) it is not clear what to make of this organisation, the only evidence of its existence is its website, it could have only just emerged. Judging from its website this group differs from others on the far right in that it explicitly describes itself as Nazi, and it openly celebrates the birthday of Adolf Hitler (April 20). It is probably a tiny sect (Searchlight magazine estimating membership at around 120), but it could say something about the political climate in the United Kingdom that a group like this could emerge at all. Effectively it represents an attempt to launch a political party based around the older November 9th Society, which previously rejected participation inelections. April 20 is the 110th day of the year in the Gregorian calendar (111th in leap years). ...
