The Booz Allen Classic is a regular golf tournament on the PGA Tour. It is played annually in February in Potomac, Maryland. Since 1987 the tournament has been held on the course at the TPC at Avenel. Booz Allen Hamilton is the main sponsor of the tournament. The format of the tournament is stroke play at 18 holes for four days, a total of 72 holes. The field consists of 156 players. After 36 holes, the field is cut to the top seventy players plus all players tied for 70th place.
