Bloomberg Television are cable television networks around the world that broadcast business and financial news 24 hours a day. The network was widely known for their data screen format, in which news tickers and business data boxes used more of the television screen than the broadcast video. This was changed for a less cluttering interface and now has video showing the majority of the screen, similar to that of CNBC. They were also one of the first financial news networks to provide a free internet streaming video feed. Bloomberg Television is owned by Bloomberg L.P. and has its headquarters in New York City. Controversy

Bloomberg TV was severely reprimanded for breach of Ofcom rules during the 2005 UK national (General) election. Bloomberg TV was found to have showed pro-Labour Party bias [1]. This occurred due to a breach of British law. In the run up to a general election television channels must provide equal time to all major political parties.
