Bill Harry was born in Liverpool, England. He attended Liverpool College of Art with John Lennon and Stuart Sutcliffe. Harry was a member of The Dissenters [1] and the founder and editor of Mersey Beat, a weekly pop newspaper documenting the Liverpool scene.
