Bibrka (Ukrainian Бібрка), is a city in western Ukraine about 29 km southeast of Lviv on PI29. The city has been ruled at various points by the Austrian empire, the Austro-Hungarian empire, the Kingdom of Galicia and Lodomeria, the Kingdom of Hungary, the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, the Russian Empire, the Soviet Union, and is now part of the Lviv Oblast in Ukraine; as a result Bibrka has several offical and native names, inculding: Bóbrka (Polish/Russian), Prachnik (German), and Boiberke/Boyberke (Yiddish). The city has a population of 3.980.
