After stealing three TIE Hunters, Wedge Antilles and two other Rogues were sent to the Fondor construction yards, which constructed Imperial Star Destroyers. Disguised as Imperial forces, a "captured" Rebel Transport, which was on collision course, would crash into the control center, giving Wedge a chance to take down the shields of the facility.
