Bart Edward Scott (born August 18, 1980 in Detroit, Michigan) is an American football linebacker who attended Southern Illinois University and is currently playing for the Baltimore Ravens of the NFL. Scott saw significant playing time during the 2005 season in which Ray Lewis injured his hamstring. He played in Lewis' absence at the middle linebacker position. Scott signed a three year contract extension with the Ravens ,though the Cleveland Browns offered him more money. With the departure of Adalius Thomas, he is now starting LOLB/MLB for the Ravens, depending on which defense they're in. Ravens are known to play 4-3, 3-4, and 46 defenses.
