Personality

In his younger days, Itchy was a fearless warior. In his elder days, he can best be described as he was in the fourth draft of the script of The Star Wars Holiday Special: "a gray-haired, cranky, 400-year-old cuss."


Biography

Along with his mate, Attichitcuk allowed their children to explore the differences that manifested in their youths. It was Attichitcuk that gave Chewbacca a wooden starship that inspired his son's wanderlust. In his youth, Attichitcuk was an exceptional warrior and hunter. As he aged, Attichitcuk became a community leader, advisor to the Wookiee councils and disparate Kashyyyk tribes.


A leader amongst the Wookiees by the last decades of the Galactic Republic, Attichitcuk represented Kashyyyk in the Alaris Prime negotiations in 32 BBY. In recognition of his negotiation efforts, Attichitcuk was chosen to lead the inititial colonization efforts. While establishing a base of operations, Attichitcuk uncovered a hidden Trade Federation operation established in violation of the Republic's decision to grant colonization rights to the Wookiees. Itchy first appears in The Star Wars Holiday Special. He was usually seen making a wooden X-Wing for his grandson, or opposing the invasion of his home by the Galactic Empire. Like many grandparents, he was shown to greatly care for his grandson, who he would be partial to many times when Lumpy's mother would scold him. It is of interest to note that, as seen in the holiday special, in addition to female wookiees, he seems to have a sexual preference for human females. This is shown in his enjoyment of viewing a virtual-reality fantasy machine of a mermaid-type girl, played by actress, Diahann Carroll.
