Antonio Ray Daniels (born 19 March1975 in Columbus, Ohio) is a professional basketball player in the NBA. After playing college basketball at Bowling Green State University, he was selected by the Vancouver Grizzlies (now Memphis Grizzlies) with the fourth overall pick of the 1997 NBA Draft. Over his career he has played for the Grizzlies, the San Antonio Spurs, the Portland Trail Blazers, the Seattle SuperSonics and the Washington Wizards. He's averaged 7.8 points and 3.3 assists per game over his career. Named honorable mention All-America by The Associated Press as a senior, AntonioDaniels was selected on the first round of the 1997 NBA Draft by the Vancouver Grizzlies, the fourth overall choice of the draft.
Daniels was named the Mid-American Conference Player of the Year in 1996-97, leading the Falcons to a 22-10 record and a spot in the 1997 National Invitational Tournament.
Daniels changed his uniform number from 10 to 33 during junior season as a tribute to his brother, Chris, a center for the University of Dayton who passed away unexpectedly on February 8, 1996.
