where the the sung word "Gloria" is broken, stretched and internally repeated into a lengthy melodic sequence:

Glo-o-o-o-o-Glo-o-o-o-o-Glo-o-o-o-o-Glo-o-o-o-o-Gloria in Excelsis Deo!

and the phrase Gloria in Excelsis Deo is itself the name of an older famous hymn.
