Andrew Brackman is a right-handed pitcher[1] drafted by the New York Yankees with the 30th pick of the 2007 Major League Baseball Draft.[2] Brackman attended Moeller High School in Cincinnati, OH and then moved on to North Carolina State University before being drafted by the Yankees. Brackman played two seasons as a dual-sport athlete playing both basketball and baseball for NC State. After being knocked out of the NCAA tournament, in 2006's sweet sixteen by Wisconsin, Brackman abruptly ending his hoops career to further pursue becoming a professional pitcher.
