Controversies

Air Pacific was forced to apologise after a Fijian soldier urinated on a young female Japanese passenger on a flight from Japan to Fiji. Air Pacific cabin crew provided the woman a change of clothes from the duty free selection, as well as towels and disinfectant soap. [2]

Passengers flying into Nadi on Air Pacific from Brisbane may expect that Air Pacific staff will spray the aircraft cabin and passengers with aerosol insecticide, as part of Fiji's quarantine policy. The efficacy of this procedure has been questioned by many, but demonstrated it seems, to but a few.
