Affirmations are a way to control your mind. If you can control what you speak, you can control what you think, and what happens around you and to you. There is incredible power in the spoken word. Affirmations are used for the attainment of wealth, character development, spritually, health, happiness, and weight loss. These are only a few but if you know how to create affirmations you can use them for whatever situaion you want.


Below is an assortment of Healthy Weight affirmations.


Choose the ones you feel an attunement with.


Affirmations condition the subconscious mind which then influences your consciousness.


They can be used in several ways. You can choose one method below or a combination.


You might want to write them daily in a journal.


Read them to yourself or aloud.


Post your favorites on cards and either carry them with you or tape affirmation cards where you will see them throughout the day.


Make a recording in your own voice and play it as you fall into sleep is a very effective method.


As you use your preferred method include mental visualization using as many of your five senses (sight, sound smell, taste, touch) as appropriate.



Also include different emotional feelings such as love, protection, nurturing, joy. Emotion is a fuel which makes affirmations more powerful.



Be aware of breathing deep into the abdomen. As if you are sending the energy inside yourself.



You can add your own affirmations.



Write them in present tense.


Keep affirmations short.



Write what you want, no “reverse” positives which would be using words such as no, never, not or don’t. For instance – I never pig out. The correct version is I feel good when I eat moderate amounts



Healthy Weight Affirmations I eat thin.


I think thin.


I eat for health.


I drink water.


I feel good and full drinking water.


I feel best when I eat moderate amounts.


I eat slowly.


I recognize when I am eating for emotional reasons and stop.


I breathe and relax as I eat.


I am proud of myself.


I feel best when eating healthy.


I realize how good I feel after a healthy meal.


I want to eat healthy.


I respect myself when I eat healthy.


I enjoy achieving and maintaining my recommended weight.


Each day it becomes easier for me to eat right. I feel confident and secure that I will reach my goals.


I am calm and peaceful when I eat.


I want to be healthy.
