The 28th Avenue light rail station is on the Hiawatha Line in the Twin Cities region of U.S. state of Minnesota. This is the fifteenth stop southbound. It has a 600-space Park and Ride lot. The south parking lot is currently closed for construction of a 1,450 space parking ramp, which will open in Fall 2008; a temporary lot is provided to the southwest of the station.[1] The Hiawatha Line is a 12-mile (19-kilometer) light-rail corridor in Hennepin County, Minnesota that extends from downtown Minneapolis to the southern suburb of Bloomington, connecting to the Minneapolis-St. ...
