Why can Tennessee not see the crime is lower in states that do not require CC Permits? The gangs and drugged and thiefs are less aggressive and open at who they attack ! What attacker is going to wait while you say " wait while I unlock and load my gun ! They will think twice even they think You just may have a gun ! |

it is necessary for the safety of the u.s citizens to pass strict laws on firearms and for person deciding to carry a concelead weapon to raise the training requirements to at least 50 hours minimum especialty in firearms safety and storage,operations ,legal asphects also phycological testing before approving a license and medical standars and applicants must be a good moral caracther and clear criminal record. handguns only . |

I just had my handguns sent to a guns dealer in Arizona. I went to pick them up and he would not give them to me because I had a Michigan drivers license. My license had a picture. The gun dealer told me I HAD to have a Arizona drivers license in order to get my guns. Is this true? |

A difinitive - NO. In Puerto Rico you must apply for and have a Weapons license just to own a gun and in order to carry concealed you must have a Conceal Carry License.
Just moved here from WA state... working my way through the maze of laws and regulations so that I can just own a few guns to target shoot. |

I moved to West Virginia from Illinois. Glad I did. I W=went to the local store and filled out a piece of paper (front and half of the back)and showed them my I.D. for proof of age. It took 5 minutes and I walked out of there with a .380 cal. TCP Pistol and 3 boxes of bullets. No questions asked. The second amendment is the ONLY law of the land when it comes to gun laws. Open carry is legal. Don't need an ID while carrying the gun and carrying it does not give an officer justification to stop and ID you. That is illegal... It's crazy to look at the differences between Illinois and West Virginia's gun laws. |

I live in Wisconsin also. I just bought a shotgun at Gander Mtn. It took me about 30 minutes with only a drivers license. Sorry I don't have a specific answer for you. What city are you in? |

I have attempted to purchase a shotgun on several occasions and am put on delay each time. After the 30 day delay, I have no gun. I have no criminal background and don't know how to get this resolved. I live in Wisconsin. Can someone point me in the right direction to get this resolved? |

NY has the most strict gun laws in the Country with the exception of the states that don't allow gun permits like Washington DC. But if your clean these days you can get a NY home or business firearm license you just have to tell your whole life story and be interviewed. SUCKS! That's why I'm moving to Virginia or Florida.. |

In order to carry your pistol outside NY you must get a permit from the states you plan to travel to.If you have a NY conceal/carry permit other state permits should not be hard to obtain because of the ludicrous amount of hoops NY has already made you jump through. |

You need to upodate your AZ info. You no longer need a license to carry concealed in AZ.
Thank you AZ legislature! Now criminals have no idea who is carrying a weapon....evens up the odds a little. |
