I was comparing oil production to oil consumption by country. I noticed that the US is not include in the production statistics. When I went to the state site I found the production at 1.757 billion barrels. Is this by day? If so, here's what I do not understand. Your statistics indicate the US consumes 20 billion barrels per day, it imports 10.4 billion per day, the by state statistics indicte that the US only produces 1.757 billion per day, where's the difference coming from?
